About the role
- Support Power BI environment deployment and enforce governance standards
- Provide training, documentation, and hands-on workshops to enable user adoption
- Troubleshoot dashboard and data issues, performance, and data connectivity
- Manage workspaces, monitor licenses, storage capacity, and performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with approved governance model and publishing processes
- Assist migration of existing dashboards to Power BI and prepare for future migrations
- Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models based on stakeholder requirements
- Respond to user inquiries related to dashboard usage, publishing workflows, permissions, and data connectivity
- Collaborate with stakeholders, leadership, and Microsoft representatives as needed
- Work on federal government projects in health, civilian, and national security missions at Analytica
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- 1+ year of hands-on experience developing dashboards, reports, and semantic models in Power BI
- Familiarity with Power BI workspace management, deployment pipelines, and development lifecycle
- Experience connecting reports to data sources, optimizing performance, and transforming data through Power Query
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to support diverse user groups
- Power BI certification preferred
- Experience supporting BI migrations or cross-platform integrations
- Knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), or data modeling concepts
- Familiarity with SQL, data pipelines, or enterprise BI governance practices
