About the role

  • As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will work closely with the business and technology teams to bridge the gap between users and software.
  • Help support the product as well as understand, translate, and develop requirements for product enhancements.
  • Manage requests and requirements, develop delivery schedules, and communicate across broader teams.
  • Be a subject matter expert – develop deep knowledge of our platform, dependencies on other systems and influence our roadmap.
  • Support our customers in the understanding and usage of existing features.
  • Conduct research and analysis to find the root causes of business challenges, identify business opportunities and make recommendations on how to achieve business goals and stay competitive.
  • Write requirements, functional specifications, and other supporting documentation for new and/or enhanced systems.
  • Collaborate with the Product Managers to analyze processes and system issues and turn them into actionable system changes that benefit the requesting party(s).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in a relevant field
  • Proficient knowledge of Office 365 and SQL
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated effective functional documentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
  • Experience in product support
  • Experience in agile software development, scrum methodologies, tools, & processes
  • Excellent multitasking and time management skills to manage stakeholders and meet tight deadlines
