About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical leadership in the design and development of sophisticated mixed-signal integrated circuits, including power management ICs, ADCs, DACs, PLLs, and other mixed-signal blocks
- Make critical architectural decisions and drive technical innovation
- Establish mixed-signal design methodologies
- Develop ADC, DAC, and/or SerDes PHY subsystems for sophisticated mixed-signal SoC products using FinFET wafer technologies
- Evaluate alternative mixed-signal subsystem implementation architectures
- Design challenging transistor-level mixed-signal integrated circuits
- Prepare design documents and conduct design reviews
- Guide mixed-signal integrated circuit layout
- Guide mixed-signal integrated circuit evaluation and testing
- Mentor junior engineers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Contribute to high-performance semiconductor solutions and advanced circuit development
Requirements
What you’ll need- MS Electrical Engineering
- 7+ years of mixed-signal integrated circuit development experience
- Strong understanding of data converter architectures and specifications and/or deep understanding of SerDes PHY architectures and specifications
- Deep understanding of mixed-signal design fundamentals, design tools, and methodologies
- Solid understanding of integrated circuit product development, including design, verification, evaluation, test, and qualification
- Successful experience developing challenging mixed-signal integrated circuits for commercial applications
- Strong technical leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
- Required travel of 10% of the time
