About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical leadership in the design and development of sophisticated mixed-signal integrated circuits, including power management ICs, ADCs, DACs, PLLs, and other mixed-signal blocks
  • Make critical architectural decisions and drive technical innovation
  • Establish mixed-signal design methodologies
  • Develop ADC, DAC, and/or SerDes PHY subsystems for sophisticated mixed-signal SoC products using FinFET wafer technologies
  • Evaluate alternative mixed-signal subsystem implementation architectures
  • Design challenging transistor-level mixed-signal integrated circuits
  • Prepare design documents and conduct design reviews
  • Guide mixed-signal integrated circuit layout
  • Guide mixed-signal integrated circuit evaluation and testing
  • Mentor junior engineers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Contribute to high-performance semiconductor solutions and advanced circuit development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • MS Electrical Engineering
  • 7+ years of mixed-signal integrated circuit development experience
  • Strong understanding of data converter architectures and specifications and/or deep understanding of SerDes PHY architectures and specifications
  • Deep understanding of mixed-signal design fundamentals, design tools, and methodologies
  • Solid understanding of integrated circuit product development, including design, verification, evaluation, test, and qualification
  • Successful experience developing challenging mixed-signal integrated circuits for commercial applications
  • Strong technical leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Required travel of 10% of the time
