About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ability to work 8 hours under the microscope utilizing miniaturized hand tools such as tweezers and fine screwdrivers
- In-process inspection and self-inspection
- Hand solder components, wires, and jumpers into the assemblies per IPC-610
- Assemble and/or solder electronic components to printed circuit boards
- MMIC Die attach of chip components using silver epoxy
- Hybrid circuit assemblies using silver epoxy and solder
- Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets, prints and drawings
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Good computer skills required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions
- Hand assembly using a variety of tools and/or equipment
- Use Loctite, epoxy, and other compounds as required
- Handle ESD sensitive material and equipment
- Willing to be cross-trained and perform other related duties as required
- Good dexterity, eye/hand coordination
- Demonstrate a keen awareness of safety practices and familiarity with OSHA standards
- Ensure work areas are kept neat, clean, and organized per company guideline
- Must maintain a very good attendance record
Requirements
What you’ll need- US Citizenship and able/willing to obtain a government security clearance
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions/documentation
- Good computer skills
- 1 to 3-years working as a Micro assembly/Mechanical assembly preferred or related experience
- High school diploma/GED required
- A diploma from a Vocational High School or Technical Diploma is a plus
