About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ability to work 8 hours under the microscope utilizing miniaturized hand tools such as tweezers and fine screwdrivers
  • In-process inspection and self-inspection
  • Hand solder components, wires, and jumpers into the assemblies per IPC-610
  • Assemble and/or solder electronic components to printed circuit boards
  • MMIC Die attach of chip components using silver epoxy
  • Hybrid circuit assemblies using silver epoxy and solder
  • Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets, prints and drawings
  • Follow written and verbal instructions
  • Good computer skills required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions
  • Hand assembly using a variety of tools and/or equipment
  • Use Loctite, epoxy, and other compounds as required
  • Handle ESD sensitive material and equipment
  • Willing to be cross-trained and perform other related duties as required
  • Good dexterity, eye/hand coordination
  • Demonstrate a keen awareness of safety practices and familiarity with OSHA standards
  • Ensure work areas are kept neat, clean, and organized per company guideline
  • Must maintain a very good attendance record

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • US Citizenship and able/willing to obtain a government security clearance
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions/documentation
  • Good computer skills
  • 1 to 3-years working as a Micro assembly/Mechanical assembly preferred or related experience
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • A diploma from a Vocational High School or Technical Diploma is a plus
