About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ability to work 8 hours under the microscope utilizing miniaturized hand tools such as tweezers and fine screwdrivers
In-process inspection and self-inspection
Hand solder components, wires, and jumpers into the assemblies per IPC-610
Assemble and/or solder electronic components to printed circuit boards
MMIC Die attach of chip components using silver epoxy
Hybrid circuit assemblies using silver epoxy and solder
Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets, prints and drawings
Follow written and verbal instructions
Good computer skills required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions
Hand assembly using a variety of tools and/or equipment
Use Loctite, epoxy, and other compounds as required
Handle ESD sensitive material and equipment
Willing to be cross-trained and perform other related duties as required
Good dexterity, eye/hand coordination
Demonstrate a keen awareness of safety practices and familiarity with OSHA standards
Ensure work areas are kept neat, clean, and organized per company guideline
Must maintain a very good attendance record

Requirements

What you’ll need

US Citizenship and able/willing to obtain a government security clearance
Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions/documentation
Good computer skills
1 to 3-years working as a Micro assembly/Mechanical assembly preferred or related experience
High school diploma/GED required
A diploma from a Vocational High School or Technical Diploma is a plus
