About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • using ADI’s portfolio of high-performance power products to solve engineering challenges in the industry.
  • developing system-level solutions and references for a wide variety of applications.
  • close collaboration with other ADI design teams, FAEs and occasional visits to customers.
  • troubleshooting system-level hardware solutions.
  • building internal and external relationships while working closely with customers and design teams across business units to deliver a power system solution or reference design.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A BSEE is required, and an MSEE is preferred.
  • minimum of 10 years of industry experience is required.
  • first-rate understanding of power electronics and power supply design.
  • direct experience with low-voltage, high-current power applications in mixed-signal environments is beneficial.
  • strong knowledge of high performance isolated and non-isolated DC/DC converters in a wide range of markets.
  • excellent communications skills and open to travel as necessary.
  • detailed understanding of analog circuit design.
  • strong lab test and measurement skills.
  • experience with high voltage/high power Lab Safety measures, testing and discipline is beneficial.
  • proficient with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, electronic loads, spectrum/network analyzers and other common lab instruments and software (Python, LabView).
  • hands-on experience of printed circuit board layout design, fabrication, electrical characteristics as well as electronic assembly practices is beneficial.
