About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate on a team to design and engineer complex mechanical products from concept through production
- Assist in driving complex projects, make critical engineering decisions, and iterate concepts from early prototypes through refined designs
- Create and maintain technical documentation for design controls throughout the FDA submission process
- Communicate clearly and professionally to enable effective project collaboration
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent 4-year undergraduate degree)
- 5+ years of experience designing and engineering mechanical products
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and hands-on experience designing injection-molded, sheet metal, cast, and 3D-printed components
- Proficiency with SolidWorks for part and assembly design, 2D drawing creation (GD&T)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
