About the role
- responsible for the verification of high‑performance automotive mixed‑signal ICs, using advanced AMS/DMS simulation flows, behavioral modeling, and structured verification methodology.
- architect and execute comprehensive mixed‑signal verification to ensure first‑silicon success of complex systems such as precision ADCs, references, oscillators, and power‑management circuitry.
- develop high-quality analog models and verify them against the underlying analog circuitry as well as against target specifications.
- collaborate closely with highly experienced circuit designers and with your peers in the verification team.
Requirements
- A strong, foundational understanding of analog and mixed‑signal circuits, including ADCs, references, oscillators, and power converters.
- Proficiency with mixed-signal circuit simulation and mixed-signal verification tools such as Verilog-AMS, SystemVerilog RNM modeling, and AMS / DMS simulations.
- Experience with defining test plans, relevant checkers, and coverage metrics from circuit block to system.
- Experience in developing RNM models for analog circuits, validating model accuracy, and ensuring alignment between design, system engineering, and IC verification teams.
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, ideally combined with an interest to use AI tools to work more effectively.
- Familiarity with functional safety (ISO26262) and how it applies to verification and validation, or an interest to learn more about this.
