About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own demand and inventory planning across e-commerce, marketplaces, wholesale, department store partners, and retail stores
  • Stand up a rolling demand forecast and inventory allocation model
  • Run open-to-buy and constrained-inventory decisions across channels
  • Design automated replenishment logic for the retail store fleet
  • Lead the monthly S&OP process with Merchandising, Sales, Retail, Operations, Production, and Finance
  • Own the consolidated rolling 12-month demand forecast and forecasting methodology
  • Drive forecast accuracy by channel and create an accuracy-improvement roadmap
  • Prioritize and allocate constrained inventory across channels
  • Own the annual inventory investment plan and open-to-buy
  • Manage reorder and production planning with suppliers, including MOQs, lead times, PO timing, and expediting
  • Drive inventory turns and inventory health, including aged and excess stock
  • Design and implement automated replenishment for retail stores, Amazon FBA, and packaging components
  • Own initial inventory allocation for new store openings
  • Build planning models, dashboards, automation, master data, and process standards
  • Manage and develop the Supply Chain Planner
  • Establish and drive the planning cadence for cross-functional alignment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years in demand, inventory, merchandise, or supply chain planning
  • 2–3 years leading a planning function or team of 2 or more
  • Multichannel experience across at least three of DTC e-commerce, Amazon/marketplaces, wholesale or department stores, and physical retail
  • Experience arbitrating inventory allocation between competing channels under supply constraints
  • Fashion, jewelry, or accessories experience strongly preferred; alternatively, consumer goods experience with high SKU counts, seasonality, and frequent newness
  • Engineering degree or equivalent quantitative field such as operations research, supply chain, or statistics
  • Advanced modeling skills
  • SQL, BI tools such as Looker, and scripting such as Python are strong pluses
  • Ownership of an inventory or open-to-buy budget
  • Understanding of working capital and margin implications of planning decisions
  • Ability to build planning discipline from spreadsheets and BI tools without existing infrastructure
  • Hands-on ability to build forecasts, place reorders, and write queries
  • Strong cross-functional influence
  • Fluent English; Spanish is a plus
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US
  • Must indicate whether company sponsorship will be required
