About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle a high volume of inbound phone calls and chats
- Respond to and resolve customer issues in a timely fashion
- Provide the highest level of customer service while remaining professional and polite
- Produce certificates, policies, endorsements, and other related items for clients
- Support team goals through related duties and special projects
- Provide standard information and complete forms within guidelines
- Meet or exceed department metrics for call handling and quality
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Call center environment experience is a plus
- Post-secondary education preferred
- Experience working in an office or customer-focused environment preferred
- Ability to work Pacific Time Zone, 8AM–5PM
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong self-motivation, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment and connectivity issues, including headset, internet, and system access
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Ability to learn and navigate software and web-based applications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, operate dual monitors, and maintain accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and instructions
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply information effectively
- Understanding of department performance metrics related to call handling and quality preferred
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes, systems, and responsibilities
- Positive attitude, strong integrity, and commitment to excellent customer service
