About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Focus on growing new business and increasing market penetration
- Manage existing and future relationships in the assigned territory
- Drive the development of new AAGI business with overall responsibility for customer relationships and account planning
- Craft and implement strategies for closing new business and increasing market share
- Responsible for the penetration and growth of AAGI product lines
- Act as key contact while leading the effort to grow new business by building relationships with key agents and dealership personnel
- Develop and maintain a relationship plan for all prospective accounts
- Arrange and participate in personal client visits with agents or dealership personnel
- Be engaged in all new business account kickoffs to promote sales tools
- Stay informed of business opportunities, market trends, and competitive activity
- Represent AAGI at trade association meetings and seminars as required
- Manage Region’s Sales-Force Pipeline and ensure sales database accuracy
- Develop and maintain an ongoing sales plan of action
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of three years’ experience in the Automotive F&I retail industry
- Minimum of three years’ experience within the F&I Income Development Industry
- Strong hunter profile with a proven track record of success
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with customers
- Proven ability to create and implement strategic plans to increase new business accounts within the region
- Flexible, resilient, diplomatic, tolerant, and able to break down silos for the greater good of the company
- Credible and persuasive communicator and an active listener
- Excellent presentation skills
- Must be able to travel extensively (up to 70%).
