About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and own a vertical-specific go-to-market strategy.
  • Prospect, engage and convert clients across the vertical, maintain a healthy pipeline and update CRM daily.
  • Work closely with clients to tailor solutions that meet their specific energy storage needs.
  • Collaborate with Proposals and Solutions Engineering teams to understand the technical aspects of battery storage solutions.
  • Deliver on monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ year-experience in B2B within the energy sector (specialisation in battery storage or renewable energy is preferred).
  • Familiarity with energy systems, sustainability, or smart infrastructure.
  • Market-specific technical or industry knowledge is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch languages.
  • Strong understanding of energy markets, regulations and trends in the Netherlands.
  • Passion and eagerness to explore the opportunities of BESS in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Flexibility and passion to work in a dynamic start-up environment striving for sustainability.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
