About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and own a vertical-specific go-to-market strategy.
- Prospect, engage and convert clients across the vertical, maintain a healthy pipeline and update CRM daily.
- Work closely with clients to tailor solutions that meet their specific energy storage needs.
- Collaborate with Proposals and Solutions Engineering teams to understand the technical aspects of battery storage solutions.
- Deliver on monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ year-experience in B2B within the energy sector (specialisation in battery storage or renewable energy is preferred).
- Familiarity with energy systems, sustainability, or smart infrastructure.
- Market-specific technical or industry knowledge is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in English and Dutch languages.
- Strong understanding of energy markets, regulations and trends in the Netherlands.
- Passion and eagerness to explore the opportunities of BESS in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Flexibility and passion to work in a dynamic start-up environment striving for sustainability.
- Willingness to travel as required.
