About the role

  • Responsible for implementing the system operations of customer sites while developing a committed engineering team around it
  • Integrating with different types of hardware and all its particularities
  • Implementing the overall strategies that steer the hardware
  • Lead the execution and end-to-end ownership of new implementations and operational strategies
  • Autonomously drive the implementation and optimization of system operations for customer sites
  • Act as a technical advisor to internal and external stakeholders, providing insights and guidance on technical aspects of projects
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to support a high-performance engineering team
  • Operate with a high degree of independence, requiring only light technical supervision for strategic validation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • 5-7 years of experience with Software Development
  • Affinity with one or more of the following technologies: Java, Kotlin, TimescaleDB, InfluxDB, Modbus, Spring
  • Proven track record of driving projects autonomously and managing technical scope involving cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience with liaising directly with customers and external stakeholders is a bonus point
  • A thorough understanding of power, energy and the challenges that hardware can bring
  • Modbus & hardware experience is highly preferred
  • Work experience or affinity with Energy Monitoring System (EMS)
  • Work experience or affinity with Time-Series database
  • A proactive learner with active interest in the evolving cybersecurity landscape and a commitment to staying current with industry best practices (such as ISO 27001 or CISSP frameworks)
