About the role
- Drive company-level priorities, bring structure and accountability across teams, and own the financial engine that supports our next stage of growth.
- Own all financial planning, including leading multi-year budgeting and forecasting processes. Drive resource allocation decisions to ensure financial readiness for future growth.
- Own the entire finance function and ensure compliance. Manage external accountants/bookkeepers and optimize all core financial systems and controls in close partnership with the CEO.
- Define, track, and interpret key financial and operational metrics. Translate this business intelligence into actionable insights that determine the overall health and scalability of the business.
- Serve as the CEO’s operational partner on top company priorities, ensuring initiatives move from concept to execution with clarity, rigor, and momentum.
- Immediately drive GTM and cross-functional alignment initiatives, designing and implementing standards to ensure frictionless execution across the entire company.
- Champion AI initiatives with enthusiasm for leveraging technology to drive efficiency and optimization across the organization.
- Drive senior leadership accountability for the execution of company-wide strategic initiatives and complex, cross-functional projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a Strategic Finance, Business Operations, or relevant leadership role within a high-growth SaaS startup.
- Proven track record of owning and optimizing critical finance processes and managing external accounting resources.
- Demonstrated history of successfully pivoting and executing high-impact work across multiple business domains.
- Exceptional financial acumen and operational modeling expertise.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and operate with extreme ownership.
- Excellent senior-level communication and collaboration skills.
- Deep enthusiasm for technology and AI; proven success piloting new technologies for efficiency.
- Expertise in leveraging modern SaaS tools and applying AI/automation for tangible business results.
- Quick learner with the ability to rapidly dive into new domains and build expertise.
