About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Promote the client’s Biosimilar products to Immunology, Dermatology, Oncology Physician Offices, and Integrated Health Systems
- Achieve territory sales expectations for promoted Biosimilar products
- Launch new products in complex integrated health systems
- Develop and implement business plans aligned to Client’s customer-facing roles
- Identify and build relationships with key decision makers and health care providers
- Collaborate with Account Team members in hospital and physician-owned infusion centers to engage decision makers, shorten buying cycles, and generate new orders
- Implement national strategies and programs
- Maintain company and client employee compliance policies and procedures
- Frequently collaborate and communicate with Client’s customer-facing roles
- Maintain positive working relationships with health care customers and client contacts
- Report to the Associate Director, Area Manager
- Travel within the territory and to work-related meetings and functions, including possible overnight and weekend travel
- Submit and maintain credentials and documentation required for compliant access to hospitals or healthcare providers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 2+ years of biopharmaceutical sales or relevant healthcare sales or services experience
- Ability to travel as needed within the territory, including overnight and/or weekend travel
- Ability to travel to work-related meetings and functions, including overnight and/or weekend travel
- Valid driver's license
- Successful completion of client training is required
- Ability to maintain required credentials, including vaccination status, trainings, HCP/Hospital policies, and other job-related documentation
- Preferred: 3+ years of specialty sales experience selling biologics in Immunology, Dermatology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, or Oncology
- Preferred: Experience with specialty pharmacy products, buy and bill, and/or business-to-business selling models
- Preferred: Complex account and territory management experience
- Preferred: Experience collaborating with multiple customer-facing roles
- Preferred: Experience in hospital environments, infusion centers, and specialty pharmacy
- Preferred: Knowledge of billing codes, reimbursement, support, medical benefits dynamics, and managed care environments
- Preferred: Experience working with Medicare Part B
- Intellectual curiosity and effective selling skills, including the ability to utilize probing questions
- Ethical and strong compliance knowledge for work in a regulated industry
- Technical aptitude and working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to drive utilization of an infused product in a complex integrated health care system
- Representatives in certain jurisdictions or hospital systems may be required to obtain specific licenses
