About the role
- Execute and maintain Knowledge Management policies, taxonomy, and tagging standards within enterprise systems.
- Establish accountability frameworks and partner with content owners to ensure governance guidelines are applied consistently.
- Align system-level configurations, permissions, and workflows with organizational KM standards and data governance practices.
- Partner with an initial group of content owners and system owners across key enterprise tools, serving as the primary liaison to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Work closely with system owners to regularly review and maintain content accuracy, currency, and structure.
- Identify gaps, overlaps, and redundancies across content repositories to improve enterprise-wide knowledge consistency.
- Oversee the periodic review and validation of key content and documentation.
- Support content owners in applying KM best practices, including tagging, metadata, and archiving processes.
- Implement version control and deprecation routines to ensure content remains up-to-date and relevant.
- Partner with the AI and Enterprise Search teams to improve searchability, metadata accuracy, and tagging effectiveness.
- Maintain and refine existing guidance, documentation, and training resources to ensure ongoing alignment with Knowledge Management standards and evolving system needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Business, Communications, Education, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Knowledge Management, Information Architecture, Content Operations, or related governance roles in a cross-functional environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating knowledge across multiple enterprise systems (e.g., CMS, LMS, Salesforce, Confluence).
- Strong understanding of metadata, taxonomy, tagging, and content lifecycle management.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to influence across teams and levels.
