About the role
- Amplify is seeking a bilingual project coordinator to support the development of print and digital products across our Literacy programs, including English Language Arts (ELA) and Spanish Language Arts (SLA) products. The coordinator will assist in creating and monitoring schedules primarily for content development, pre-production, and production phases. Provide tactical, detail-oriented support to the project management team and internal cross-functional teams, aligning with overall project goals and constraints. Handle day-to-day correspondence with vendor partners to ensure all parties meet deadlines. Manage day-to-day tasks and deliverables for print and/or digital projects of various sizes. Understand workflows and dependencies of project components, and know the roles and responsibilities of the cross-functional teams involved. Ensure project schedules are current and track progress of deliverables against key milestones. Facilitate file handoffs to internal and external partners. Assist the project management team with documenting risks, issues, decisions, and change management. Attend relevant status meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items. Review vendor estimates and invoices against the work completed. Make recommendations for process improvements where appropriate. This is a contract role expected to end on 5/29/2026.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a project coordination or similar role with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Excellent organization and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple competing projects. Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Fluency in Spanish. Preferred: Experience working on projects in the educational publishing industry Preferred: Ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders at varying levels of an organization Preferred: Keen interest in a career in project management
