About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Utilize a sales-through-service approach, using probing questions and active listening to identify member needs
Recommend solutions that benefit members and deepen their relationship with the Credit Union
Provide superior banking experiences through virtual engagements
Assist members in opening and managing financial accounts remotely
Work with Business Partners to offer holistic member solutions
Build and maintain a book of business of potential and existing members
Understand company deposit products and consumer loans
Create new memberships and activate available accounts
Perform account maintenance and respond to member inquiries
Exercise good judgment in decisions that benefit members and organizational goals
Uphold credit union policies and procedures and champion organizational culture internally and externally

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
One year of successful financial institution or sales-related experience required
Desire to help others and willingness to discuss members' financial well-being
Call Center experience preferred, but not required
Must be bondable
Knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Office products, and telephone use
Knowledge and use of a 10-key is helpful
Reliable internet access with minimum 50MBPS speed
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
Must have or quickly obtain working knowledge of Credit Union products and services, policies, standard operating procedures, and State and Federal regulations
