About the role

  • Develop data ingestion and transformation pipelines (ETL/ELT) in Data Lake and Data Warehouse environments.
  • Implement data quality, monitoring and validation routines.
  • Build and maintain APIs for data consumption by systems and applications.
  • Document data flows, business rules and data models used.
  • Participate in relational and analytical data modeling.
  • Collaborate with BI, Product and Data Science teams to structure and make data available.
  • Automate data delivery processes using orchestration tools.
  • Support the evolution of the company’s data architecture together with architecture and DevOps teams.
  • Work with version control and CI/CD to ensure traceability and reproducibility of pipelines.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and development cycles (Scrum/Kanban).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and Python for data manipulation.
  • Experience building pipelines with tools such as Airflow, StreamSets, NiFi or similar.
  • Knowledge of data modeling (normalized and dimensional).
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, etc.).
  • Experience with Linux environments and shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of OLTP, OLAP, Data Lake, Data Warehouse and Lakehouse concepts.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Experience in data migration or integration projects across platforms.
