About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting for assigned grants
Ensure compliance with grant requirements, AmeriCorps regulations, OMB/2 CFR200, GAAP, FASB standards, applicable laws, and internal controls
Produce timely and accurate invoices for assigned grants
Maintain knowledge base of grant requirements
Monitor budget-to-actual performance for assigned grants
Prepare grant expenditure reports for government, corporate, and foundation grants
Review grant allocations for alignment with spend-down strategies
Verify accuracy of grant revenue and expenses
Monitor expense allocations to ensure appropriateness
Review accounting transactions for proper coding and allowability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in accounting or 1-2 years working in an accounting role
1-2 years of experience in non profit accounting
Accuracy and time management skills
NetSuite or equivalent system experience
