About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Value and Access Insights Senior Manager leads analytics for managed care and organized customers, helping shape payer and provider strategies for the Value & Access Analytics Insights organization’s medical benefit portfolio.
  • Deliver integrated analyses and insights to coverage and pricing teams, with a focus on payer and provider reimbursement strategies through secondary data analytics and data integration.
  • Partner with US Payer Marketing and C&P teams to build a deep understanding of the US managed markets environment for assigned products.
  • Provide integrated analysis combining multiple primary and secondary data sources to uncover deep insights that will guide payer, access, and reimbursement strategies.
  • Execute analytics plan to support payer insights from various payer datasets based on detailed understanding of related datasets i.e Patient level claims data; Payer claims data; Formulary coverage; Specialty Pharmacy Data.
  • Create data analytics models to generate strategic actionable business insights using SQL, R, Python and Microsoft Excel.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • PhD or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering (any), Science (any), Statistics or related field OR Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering (any), Science (any), Statistics or related field plus 2 years of business experience OR Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering (any), Science (any), Statistics or related field plus 4 years of business experience
  • Working experience on Analytics of products with Medical benefit and Pharmacy benefit usage.
  • Prior experience working with buy-and-bill products and having a good understanding of provider reimbursement/NCR analytics.
  • Prior experience in contracts and pricing, direct payer experience or value marketing and have a good foundational understanding of the US payer environment and a strong foundation in the U.S. healthcare market
  • 5+ years of healthcare experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, health care, and/or strategy consulting with specific experience and expertise in coverage, access and reimbursement drivers impacting the biopharmaceutical industry
  • Exceptional written/oral communication skills and executive presence across functions and across different levels of leadership
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to influence different styles
  • High degree of analytical and problem-solving skills
