About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a scientific liaison to the medical/scientific community
- Establish and maintain relationships with prominent experts and clinicians
- Network with external customers, including medical thought leaders and academic institutions
- Communicate scientific and medical information and the commercial value of products
- Collaborate with functional areas to identify opportunities and needs
- Train potential new speakers on scientific content
- Participate in national and regional conferences
- Evaluate potential external clinical research collaboration opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree & 3 years of Medical Affairs experience OR Bachelor’s degree & 5 years of Medical Affairs experience
- 2 years of proven experience in scientific or medical affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company
- Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel up to 60%
- Must have ability to learn to use new business applications across hardware tools (e.g., PC, iPad)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
