Administrative Coordinator – Oncology
AmgenAdministrative Coordinator providing complex support to Oncology leadership at Amgen. Handling schedules, travel arrangements, and project assistance in a fast-paced biopharma environment.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide complex administrative support to the Executive Director, Directors and other staff
- Manage multiple complex calendars by setting up and coordinating virtual and/or in-person meetings across multiple time zones
- Make travel arrangements and prepare expense reports in a timely manner
- Assist with special projects
- Assist with preparation of presentations and meeting agendas
- Maintain department email distribution lists
- Prepare agendas and take action-items as the need arises
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s degree and 2 years of administrative experience OR 2 years in a technical school setting with hands-on experience OR High school diploma / GED and 4 years of administrative experience
- 5+ years experience in an administrative support role
- Strong Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint Skills
- Knowledge of MyBuy, WebEx, MSTeams, SharePoint and Concur
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience working in biopharma industry
- Strategic problem solver who loves to “think ahead” and anticipate solutions to logistical issues
- Ability to work in a fast-moving, results oriented environment
- Discretion in dealing with proprietary information
- Helpful, can-do attitude with a solution-oriented approach
- Polite and personable ‘team player’
