About the role
- Act as a technical expert to guide staff members and functional teams on their automation and GenAI use cases’ development and deployment
- Provide technical coaching support for Power Automate, Custom GPTs, UiPath and PowerApps use cases
- Host office hours and other enablement sessions
- Build varying complexity Cloud and desktop flows in Power Automate
- Build varying complexity Custom GPTs with Actions, RAG or MCP integrations
- Build and configure PowerApps (canvas and model-driven)
- Build dashboards in Power BI as per requirements
- Ensure Agile methodologies are strictly adhered to, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery of value
- Stay current with the latest AI/ML and GenAI tooling and actively contribute to internal knowledge-sharing forums
- Deliver effective product demonstrations for internal and external collaborators
- Drive adoption of Self-Service Automation and Custom GPT Practice across Amgen through collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Support quality, compliance, and performance across Amgen’s Applied AI & Automation footprint
- Work on next-generation capabilities and services using COTS products, open-source software, frameworks, tools, and cloud computing services
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience of building GenAI solutions using End-2-End solutions leveraging Custom GPT or CoPilot Studio
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Power Platform product offerings (Power Automate, Power Apps and Power BI) and UiPath
- 2+ years of experience using Agile Methodologies to implement solutions
- Experience working and coordinating with multiple stakeholders while delivering in a team setting
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, and event-driven architectures to connect RPA and AI workflows with backend systems
- Experience with OpenAI APIs
- Strong SQL and database knowledge
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills
- Knowledge of Agentic AI or agent-based automation (good-to-have)
- Knowledge of Model Context Protocols (MCPs) for Custom GPTs (good-to-have)
- RAG implementation to extend/ground LLMs (good-to-have)
- Experience working with Jira, Confluence for agile delivery (good-to-have)
- Experience with SharePoint site development (good-to-have)
- Familiarity with GxP and systems validation (good-to-have)
- Experience in regulated industries such as biotech or healthcare (good-to-have)
- Able to work under minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical and gap/fit assessment skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams
- High degree of initiative and self-motivation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully
- Team-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goals
- Willingness to work later, evening or night shifts as required
