About the role
- Configure and maintain the functional objects of SFMC
- Help and support users on how best to use SFMC functionality and Journey Builder
- Assist in gathering requirements to continuously improve the SFMC platform
- Create and maintain system interface diagrams, functional designs, and technical specifications
- Collaborate with vendors and information technology to prioritize, launch and implement new tools and system enhancements
- Participate in the Agile development process and DevOps model
- Collaborate with the Platform team and adhere to the deployment and releases management process
- Develop and complete unit tests, integration tests, and other testing strategies to ensure quality
- Identify and resolve software bugs and performance issues
- Integrate with other systems and platforms to ensure seamless data flow and functionality
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications
- Maintain high standards of code quality, implement code reviews, and ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Perform SFMC administration tasks
Requirements
- Master’s degree with 1-3 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related
- Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of Information Systems experience
- 2+ years working on Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Partner Certification
- Integration experience with Veeva CRM & Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Hands on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Experience with Journey Builder, API skills and SQL
- Experience in SFMC Models (Email Studio, Mobile Connect, Journey Builder, Web Studio, Automation Studio and Contact Builder)
- Knowledge of SQL language applied to SFMC
- Hands-on experience with SFMC APIs and integration with external systems
- Understanding and experience with Ampscript and SSJS
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams
- High degree of initiative and self-motivation
- Preferred: analytical skills to evaluate and interpret minimally complex situations/problems
- Preferred: knowledge in frontend languages (HTML and CSS)
- Preferred: Salesforce & Safe certification advantageous
- Preferred: Knowledge of Veeva Platform
- Preferred: Previous experience in healthcare industry
