About the role

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the Rare Disease Business Unit (RDBU)
  • Work closely with RDBU leadership to uphold Amgen’s reputation
  • Support a strong culture of compliance, integrity, and ethical decision-making through data-driven insights
  • Leverage advanced analytical capabilities to assess compliance and drive continuous improvement
  • Explore and adopt new AI tools and emerging technologies for compliance monitoring
  • Identify opportunities to automate routine tasks and improve data-driven decision-making
  • Conduct data analyses to identify emerging patterns, trends, and potential risks
  • Develop and maintain a streamlined approach to providing compliance data
  • Create clear, compelling data narratives to communicate findings to RDBU leadership
  • Perform field engagement initiatives that reinforce ethical decision-making
  • Monitor industry-wide compliance and enforcement trends
  • Ensure compliance findings and corrective actions are documented and tracked.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree
  • Or Master’s degree and 2 years of experience in compliance, risk management, regulatory affairs, audit, law, or a related field
  • Or Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, regulatory affairs, audit, law, or a related field
  • Or Associate’s degree and 8 years of experience in compliance, risk management, regulatory affairs, audit, law, or a related field
  • Or High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, regulatory affairs, audit, law, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. and international healthcare compliance laws and standards
  • Familiarity with industry codes of conduct
  • Strong understanding of compliance risk areas
  • Fluency in English and at least one regional language
  • Proficient in using technology, analytics, and AI-driven tools for compliance monitoring
  • Strong project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate across teams.
