About the role

  • The Senior Manager Coverage & Pricing will drive product-specific pricing strategies, LEDR development, and net revenue impact analyses to facilitate pricing and contracting decision-making by senior leadership.
  • Determine Amgen’s pricing and contracting strategy for the bone franchise and memorialize strategies in customer contracts.
  • Create analytics to support provider contracting decisions.
  • Manage LEDR for Prolia, XGEVA and EVENITY.
  • ASP Forecast/Reporting and modeling impact – Prolia, EVENITY, XGEVA.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of bone franchise performance.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of key customer’s financials, growth drivers, membership, mergers/acquisitions, end customers, etc.
  • Help drive forward looking contract and pricing strategy across the bone franchise.
  • Influence payer and provider contracting strategy through rigorous analytics.
  • Frequent leadership presentations.
  • Broad cross-functional exposure throughout V&A and Bone Franchise brand teams, including direct field, finance and legal partnership

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree and 2 years of industry experience
  • Master’s degree and 4 years of industry experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of industry experience
  • Associate’s degree and 10 years of industry experience
  • High school diploma / GED and 12 years of industry experience
  • 10+ years of combined healthcare sales and marketing experience
  • Clinic and medical benefit selling experience
  • Existing relationships with assigned clinic GPO
  • Reimbursement (Part B) expertise
  • Working knowledge of 340B
  • Excellent communication skills, including networking, influencing, negotiation, presentation, written, and verbal
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with a focus on influencing, impacting and leading without authority in a highly cross-functional environment
  • Excellent eye for business
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
