About the role
- Liaise with the SLEP Centre Supervisor / Equipment Sustainability Manager on the range of expected work
- Identify any further work required on the equipment and liaise with the SLEP Centre Supervisor
- Follow the NFW&T process for any damage found
- Complete all related job and service documentation with accurate data and signatures
- Repair, maintain, inspect and service Plant and HGV equipment with current company standards
- Maintain local stocks of spares, CES, ancillaries, attachments, and local technical documentation
- Collect and input management information arising from maintenance and transaction activity
- Ensure that safe systems of work are adopted and adhere to company policies
Requirements
- Full UK Driving License
- City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent in mechanical engineering
- Experience in diagnosis techniques
- Working knowledge of Health & Safety, LOLER and PUWER regulations
- Experience in construction related plant/MHE/HGV maintenance
- No restrictions to gaining MoD security clearance
- Ability in loading and unloading of equipment, tools, STTE and spares
- Valid passport as potential for occasional travel to overseas locations
- Able to maintain periods of intense workload
