About the role

  • Ensuring availability of critical parts for statutory tasks and managing remedial tasks in the CAFM system.
  • Performing general and semi-skilled maintenance activities, including security systems like CCTV and alarms.
  • Conducting monthly checks and tests of fire extinguisher equipment, fire hydrants, and hoses.
  • Completing quarterly RCD testing and inspect Misting Units.
  • Maintaining fire doors and performing flushing and tap temperature tests as per water risk assessments.
  • Undertaking monthly and annual emergency lighting checks.
  • Checking and testing smoke vents as required.
  • Carrying out any other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Fire; Door Maintenance, Extinguisher Maintenance and Alarm Core Points
  • Emergency Lighting
  • RCD
  • Water Temperature Testing
  • IT skills
  • Ideally you will be qualified in multiple areas of maintenance as outlined above with experience in general building maintenance.
  • In addition to this, it would be desirable if you have experience of working within a custodial environment with basic Health and Safety knowledge and exposure to building and system compliance, although this is not essential as we will provide you with the required development you need to bring you up to speed.
