About the role

  • Build and maintain web experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for websites, mobile apps, and digital content
  • Design, develop, and integrate using Java, Apache Sling, OSGi and AEM-specific tools like CRXDE
  • Build robust and scalable integrations using Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and other modern technologies
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and advise on architecture, performance, and security
  • Develop APIs and implement complex backend integrations with CMS platforms and external enterprise systems
  • Work closely with functional analysts, front-end developers, designers, and product owners to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Apply coding standards, conduct peer reviews, write unit tests, and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, version control, and containerisation to ensure reliable and automated delivery of software
  • Participate in knowledge sharing guilds, technical sessions, and code reviews to share knowledge across the company
  • Stay up to date with Java frameworks, emerging web technologies, and cloud services to introduce innovative solutions
  • Provide support during project delivery and proactively suggest improvements to enhance customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent through experience
  • You have at least 2 years of experience as an AEM developer
  • Good knowledge of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and integration with external systems
  • Experience with Spring Boot, OSGi, or other popular application frameworks
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, K8s, and Docker
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • You are a team player who likes to learn and share knowledge in one of our guilds
  • You speak Dutch and are fluent in English
  • You live in Belgium
  • Nice to haves: Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
  • Nice to haves: Experience with javascript frameworks (Angular, React, Astro)
