About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver therapy and support to clients on the waitlist in their homes, in the community, or via telehealth
- Provide crisis intervention and clinical coverage when situations require it
- Connect clients and families with vital community resources and services
- Collaborate with the Program Manager and clinical supervisors to ensure smooth transitions and high-quality care
- Strengthen relationships with referral sources, community partners, and other stakeholders
- Lead or contribute to outreach, education, and marketing efforts promoting Amethyst’s programs
- Support clients from first point of contact through therapy, resource linkage, and care coordination
- Provide clinical coverage across programs and partner with community stakeholders to strengthen connections
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field
- At least one year of post-graduate counseling experience
- Bilingual/Spanish fluency is a PLUS
- Flexible, adaptable mindset
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment, especially in high-pressure situations
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to balance multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal skills fostering mutual trust, respect, and collaboration
- Self-motivation and initiative
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment
