About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support clients from the first point of contact, providing therapy and linking families to resources
Offer clinical coverage across programs and partner with community stakeholders
Deliver therapy and support to clients on the waitlist, in their homes, in the community, or via telehealth
Provide crisis intervention when situations require it
Connect clients and families with vital community resources and services
Collaborate with the Program Manager and clinical supervisors
Strengthen relationships with referral sources, community partners, and other stakeholders
Lead or contribute to outreach, education, and marketing efforts that promote Amethyst’s programs

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field
At least one year of post-graduate counseling experience
Bilingual/Spanish fluency is a PLUS
A flexible, adaptable mindset
Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
A confident communicator with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Interpersonal skills that foster mutual trust, respect, and collaboration
Self-motivation and initiative
Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment
Comfort providing services in the community
Experience supporting youth and families from diverse backgrounds
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Proven ability to build and sustain positive relationships across the community
