About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct insurance risk management surveys on a range of moderate to complex risks
  • Execute risk management consultations at policyholders’ premises
  • Develop risk management programs recommendations based on observations
  • Initiate, provide, and share resources with policyholders and agency customers on risk management topics and trends
  • Provide quantitative/qualitative analysis with conclusions to drive customer service objectives
  • Manage workload assignments to attain agency customer engagement activities
  • Collaborate with underwriting and claims in new business acquisition and account retention
  • Conduct training sessions for the policyholder and agency customers
  • Serve as an advisor on risk management matters
  • Participate in assigned workgroups supporting profitability and service delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in risk management or a related field with advanced certification/designation (CSP, ARM, CRM, CIC, CPCU) preferred
  • 5 or more years of experience in safety, risk management or related industry
  • High acumen with business computer applications including MS Office products and other industry platforms
  • Demonstrated successful ability to build positive relationships and partnerships within department, across the organization and with external customers
  • Well-developed conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently but collaboratively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
