About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct insurance risk management surveys on a range of moderate to complex risks
Execute risk management consultations at policyholders’ premises
Develop risk management programs recommendations based on observations
Initiate, provide, and share resources with policyholders and agency customers on risk management topics and trends
Provide quantitative/qualitative analysis with conclusions to drive customer service objectives
Manage workload assignments to attain agency customer engagement activities
Collaborate with underwriting and claims in new business acquisition and account retention
Conduct training sessions for the policyholder and agency customers
Serve as an advisor on risk management matters
Participate in assigned workgroups supporting profitability and service delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in risk management or a related field with advanced certification/designation (CSP, ARM, CRM, CIC, CPCU) preferred
5 or more years of experience in safety, risk management or related industry
High acumen with business computer applications including MS Office products and other industry platforms
Demonstrated successful ability to build positive relationships and partnerships within department, across the organization and with external customers
Well-developed conflict resolution skills
Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently but collaboratively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
