Key responsibilities & impact

Assist adjusters with all phases of the claim lifecycle
Handle incoming calls and mail for the claims department
Facilitate tasks and processes to aid the adjuster
Respond to inquiries regarding claim status
Obtain and verify information from relevant parties
Assist with claim documentation
Draft and distribute correspondence
Maintain accurate claim records
Coordinate external vendors
Process payments and invoices

Requirements

What you’ll need

1 year of claims or insurance experience
Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to obtain appropriate state licensing as required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with claims management software preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
