Associate Manager/Assistant Vice President – APAC Business Management & Planning

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Asia Pacific Business Management and Planning Manager with the implementation of the region's key business objectives and strategy
- Coordinate governance committees and working groups
- Carry out analysis of data, assist in the preparation of internal updates, dashboards, and executive summaries
- Produce quality written reports / presentations and run the production of regular business updates
- Participate actively in regional business plans and projects, monitor project performance against key performance indicators
- Assist in development, implementation and update of regional policies and procedures
- Identify and assess risk events relating to/impacting APAC business operations/clients
- Maintain Business Continuity Plans and serve as the business BCP coordinator of APAC
- Coordinate procurement, vendor management, and outsourcing processes in APAC
- Produce responses to regulatory surveys based on information gathered from internal stakeholders
- Coordinate and perform risk assessments
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of experience in financial services, i.e. Asset Management, Wealth Management, Banking
- Experience in Audit, Management Consulting and/or business management function preferred
- Proficiency in project planning, execution, monitoring and reporting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Trusted with confidential information
- Confident and can communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Additional Asian language skills (e.g. Chinese) is desirable
