Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the principal consultant for Snowflake best practices
Evaluate new Snowflake features and create adoption frameworks
Define AI-ready data patterns to accelerate AI solution delivery
Architect scalable, secure Snowflake environments
Design multi-account AWS integrations
Establish performance engineering practices
Implement data governance by design
Lead enablement for Snowflake Cortex AI capabilities
Create reusable AI accelerators to reduce time-to-value
Establish CI/CD for data and AI
Implement observability across platform and workloads
Mentor senior engineers and run design reviews, technical guilds, and architecture councils

Requirements

What you’ll need

7–10 years of experience in data engineering/platform engineering
5+ years in Snowflake
2+ years experience in driving AI governance, usage and implementation
Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture
Strong AWS expertise for data platforms
Demonstrated experience enabling teams on Snowflake Cortex AI
Hands-on with Amazon Bedrock Agents
Track record defining AI governance and usage guidelines
Strong proficiency with SQL, Python, and IaC (Terraform or AWS CDK)
Expertise in CI/CD for data & AI workloads
Excellent communication and technical leadership skills
