Investment Risk Associate

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support risk monitoring across different asset classes by updating and reviewing tracking data (e.g., limits and risk measures), ensuring issues are clearly identified and escalated.
- Work with teams across the business and external partners to gather and validate data, contributing to accurate and timely risk oversight.
- Contribute to the delivery of risk reporting by ensuring information is clear, consistent, and ready for senior stakeholders.
- Help identify and investigate data trends or exceptions, supporting the team in maintaining strong risk controls.
- Prepare materials for team and governance meetings, including agendas, slides, minutes, and action lists, and follow up to ensure actions are completed.
- Check documents and communications carefully to ensure accuracy and clarity, raising any issues where needed.
- Look for ways to improve processes, such as creating templates, checklists, or supporting simple automation.
- Help document processes and controls to ensure work is consistent, well-governed, and audit-ready.
- Handle data responsibly, maintaining confidentiality and following company policies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hold a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in any discipline.
- Have graduated in 2025, or be due to graduate in 2026.
- Be available to join from June 2026 and commit fully to the role.
- Ability to utilise tools such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with SharePoint and Teams is advantageous.
