About the role
- Implement, execute and manage risk for Columbia Threadneedle's EMEA Distribution business unit
- Ensure an integrated risk framework and strong control environment
- Lead a team responsible for risk event management, risk and controls identification, self-assessment and testing, risk reporting and governance
- Benchmark industry-wide data and act as a liaison with industry sources
- Establish and maintain a governance framework designed to monitor and ensure efficacy of operational risk management
- Implement reporting routines that ensure strong communication with stakeholders
- Identify high risk processes and build out a testing program
- Facilitate and lead crisis prevention sessions
Requirements
- College or equivalent
- 5+ years relevant experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong ability to lead, partner, and influence across all leadership levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to drive results and meet deadlines to reduce risks
- Must be able to work independently
