About the role
- Lead strategic vendor management initiatives to drive operational excellence and mitigate risk
- Oversee a portfolio of third-party vendors supporting Service Delivery and Clearing Operations
- Ensure contract adherence, performance monitoring, and alignment with enterprise risk and compliance standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, information security, and business partners to support line-of-business objectives
- Enforce vendor contracts and SLAs to ensure compliance and accountability
- Monitor vendor performance, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement
- Conduct regular vendor reviews and represent Service and Operations in new contracts and amendments
- Lead vendor risk assessments; obtain and manage audit documentation to close open findings
- Maintain detailed records of vendor activities and performance metrics
- Identify risks, track issues, and ensure timely resolution
- Analyze vendor data to inform strategic recommendations and decisions
- Coordinate and participate in RFI/RFP processes and contract negotiations
- Identify and execute cost savings and avoidance opportunities
- Apply Lean methodologies to enhance vendor management processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5+ years vendor management or related experience
- 5+ years of experience in a service or operations organization
- Proven ability to lead, partner and influence across various leadership levels
- Demonstrated success in driving measurable business outcomes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with common service or operations applications and services
