- Staffing, training, and supervising a life and disability income products underwriting unit
- Reviews cases referred by other underwriters
- Underwriting larger, more complex applications
- Acts as a decision maker on large insurance applications

Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent (4-years)
- 7-10 years of relevant experience
- Superior analytical skills
- Communication skills
- Previous experience leading teams
- Has or is actively working towards at least one professional designation such as FALU, CLU, FLMI, ChFC
