About the role
- Build and analyze investment portfolios tailored to HNWI clients
- Review, verify, and input investment holding data into portfolio analytic tools to analyze current client/prospect portfolios
- Provide support to the US-based Portfolio Strategist in servicing the HNWI portfolios and learn the US investment landscape
- Prepare detailed portfolio reports and client facing investment presentations
- Complete quarterly tasks to maintain the investment team’s operational readiness (e.g., update quarterly performance metrics, approved investment strategies lists, etc.)
- Leverage Morningstar Direct and Preqin databases for research and analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
- Monitor market trends and identify investment opportunities
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams and product partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the financial services industry, including 3-5 years in the HNW wealth management space
- Familiarity with Financial planning concepts and strong analytical and reporting skills
- Strong investment products knowledge or willingness to acquire it (critical for discussions and recommendations)
- Experience with financial tools like Morningstar Direct, Preqin etc.
- Detailed oriented with strong analytical skills
- Strong communications skills, both oral and written, to interact with team, business partners, advisors, and senior management
- Ability to take direction and work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and across the organization
