About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support RN Regional Managers and Staffing Coordinators throughout the Central region to maintain excellent patient care and nursing operations
  • Implement and evaluate patient-care operations through RN Regional Managers and Staffing Coordinators
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, processes, nursing standards, and governmental regulations
  • Provide direct patient care and clinical support to patients and nurses
  • Conduct and manage post-infusion patient surveys and approve nursing notes and visit times
  • Support supply optimization, pump troubleshooting, and policy adherence
  • Participate in screening clinical managers, contractual nurses, and Staffing Coordinators
  • Educate, orient, and perform competency assessments for regional nurses
  • Resolve nurse complaints and audit contracted nurses’ standards of care
  • Develop and implement action plans addressing deficiencies identified during regional audits
  • Train, monitor, and enforce use of the nursing documentation platform
  • Maintain nursing training and education programs and conduct monthly regional team meetings
  • Establish nursing-team goals, monitor performance, and provide reports
  • Report policy, regulatory, and conduct violations to management or the Compliance Officer
  • Travel to patients as needed for supervision and provide after-hours emergency-call coverage
  • Report infusion issues, side effects, and missed doses to the pharmacist
  • Facilitate patient and nursing supply needs
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the National Director of Nursing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) is mandatory
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in home and/or specialty infusion
  • Active and unrestricted nursing license(s), including California
  • Strong knowledge and experience in clinical aspects of home infusion and/or specialty pharmacy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks appropriately
  • Ability to perform required physical activities, including regularly lifting/moving up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to provide direct patient care, travel to patients as needed, and be available for after-hours emergency calls
