About the role

  • Responsible for accurately recording and tracking revenue and expenses of the business.
  • Monitor and reconcile commission receivables by policy, producer, and carrier.
  • Determine commission amounts due to producers and pay based on established schedule.
  • Use carrier commission statements, carrier & internal production reports and internal contract documents as inputs.
  • Prepare analyses such as relationship profitability, agent penetration, and carrier profitability.
  • Maintain carrier compensation grids.
  • Support calculation and payment of agent commissions in coordination with Finance and Payroll.
  • Balance various external and internal accounts.
  • Create and coordinate financial and production reports for performance tracking and reporting.
  • Review and provide input into financial analyses on company performance with supervisor and team.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience in a related role.
  • Thorough attention to detail.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Take direction proactively and is a team player.
  • Knowledge of basic finance and accounting principles.
  • Experience with Excel and CRM systems.
