About the role

  • Lead efforts to improve overall finance effectiveness by helping to implement best in class processes and automation.
  • Partner cross-functionally to execute strategies for finance transformation initiatives.
  • Oversee large, complex projects from inception to successful implementation, including: Proactively communicate to stakeholders any project issues or risks including timing, budget, resources, scope, etc.
  • Establish and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to assist with effectively executing responsibilities.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings.
  • Partner with Finance department teams to proactively recommend opportunities for process improvements, system optimizations, etc.
  • Participate in design discussions and decisions for solutions related to Transformation team initiatives.
  • Lead significant process changes as part of implementing Finance Transformation changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Finance, or IT required.
  • Minimum 7 years of excellent, proven project management skills, which includes experience organizing, planning, and executing from vision through implementation small- to medium-scale projects, required.
  • Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies.
  • Proficient with reporting systems and at presenting data.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to requests and with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify high quality solutions.
  • Strong relationship-development skills that result in long-term, mutually beneficial client relationships.
  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive, high volume environment.
  • Ability to identify key contacts for follow up; excellent ability to communicate project and status updates to team and cross-functionally to ensure understanding.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
