About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee information assurance activities within complex domestic and international infrastructures and data centers
Ensure compliance with federal regulations, security standards, and best practices on a federal contract
Lead Information Assurance Analysts through guidance, mentorship, and performance management
Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, procedures, and standards
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis
Oversee configuration, management, and monitoring of security controls across multiple environments
Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and RMF
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into project planning and execution
Manage security audits, assessments, and continuous monitoring activities
Report on security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and develop corrective actions
Coordinate security awareness training programs
Provide strategic recommendations to improve the organization’s overall security posture

Requirements

What you’ll need

U.S. citizenship required
Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility, or active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Subject to a federal background investigation
Minimum 7 years of experience in information assurance or cybersecurity
At least 3 years in a lead or supervisory role
Current 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP
In-depth knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, and RMF
Proficiency with SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection platforms
Experience implementing security controls and continuous monitoring in cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
Strong analytical skills for risk analysis and mitigation strategies
Leadership and team management experience
Effective communication with senior leadership, stakeholders, and technical teams
Experience conducting security audits and responding with corrective action plans
Regular domestic and international travel required
Current US Passport required for international travel
