About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee information assurance activities within complex domestic and international infrastructures and data centers
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, security standards, and best practices on a federal contract
  • Lead Information Assurance Analysts through guidance, mentorship, and performance management
  • Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, procedures, and standards
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis
  • Oversee configuration, management, and monitoring of security controls across multiple environments
  • Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and RMF
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into project planning and execution
  • Manage security audits, assessments, and continuous monitoring activities
  • Report on security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and develop corrective actions
  • Coordinate security awareness training programs
  • Provide strategic recommendations to improve the organization’s overall security posture

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility, or active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
  • Subject to a federal background investigation
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in information assurance or cybersecurity
  • At least 3 years in a lead or supervisory role
  • Current 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP
  • In-depth knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, and RMF
  • Proficiency with SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection platforms
  • Experience implementing security controls and continuous monitoring in cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
  • Strong analytical skills for risk analysis and mitigation strategies
  • Leadership and team management experience
  • Effective communication with senior leadership, stakeholders, and technical teams
  • Experience conducting security audits and responding with corrective action plans
  • Regular domestic and international travel required
  • Current US Passport required for international travel
