About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide site-level security management and oversight in support of classified mission activities within a DoW SAP and SCI environment.
  • This position supports a Government client at Eglin and is responsible for coordinating day-to-day security operations, ensuring compliance with applicable Government security requirements, and integrating local site support with broader program security objectives.
  • Serve as the primary on-site security focal point for supported personnel, facilities, and mission activities.
  • Lead and coordinate site security support activities for assigned facilities, personnel, and classified operations at Eglin.
  • Support execution of local security requirements across physical security, visitor control, personnel security coordination, document control, and access management functions.
  • Coordinate with Government site leadership and enterprise security stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation of security policies, procedures, and mission priorities.
  • Monitor site-level actions, issues, inspections, and support requirements and provide status updates and recommendations, as needed.
  • Assist with facility-related security procedures, access control measures, incident response coordination, and classified material safeguarding.
  • Support inspections, self-assessments, compliance actions, and corrective action tracking affecting local security operations.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with Government, contractor, and external stakeholders supporting site mission requirements.
  • Support continuity of operations and effective delivery of security services across the Eglin mission environment.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant discipline and 10 years of directly relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline plus 14 years of directly related work experience.
  • Experience must include support to Special Access Program and Sensitive Compartmented Information environments
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively across Government, contractor, and external stakeholders; prepare briefings, reports, standard operating procedures, and official correspondence; and lead a team in fast paced classified environments.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; must be able to meet any applicable Special Access Program eligibility requirements identified by the Government.
