About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical literacy on Department of War technology areas to support the Join Acquisition Protection and Exploitation Cell (JAPEC)
Identify and mitigate threats to critical and emerging technologies
Inform operations of the DoW and its partners using advanced data science techniques
Query and collate unclassified information sources, identify trends, and provide data visualization through dashboards
Collaborate across multiple interagency teams, law enforcement, and counterintelligence entities
Draft comprehensive analytical documents for executive risk assessment decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or related STEM field
Active TS/SCI clearance required
5+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, coding, or related intelligence disciplines supporting DoW or Interagency organizations
Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts
Proficient in R and Python, knowledge of SQL would be ideal
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word)
Familiar with data visualization/management platforms (e.g., PowerBI)
Strong team orientation, proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented
