Key responsibilities & impact

Design and oversee implementation of complex technology solutions
Use strategic thinking to align business requirements with technical execution
Ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions
Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions
Create comprehensive solution designs including architecture diagrams
Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, frameworks, and products
Ensure solutions adhere to architectural standards, security, and compliance regulations
Guide development teams through implementation challenges
Collaborate with business leaders and IT teams to align solutions
Assess existing systems and identify improvement opportunities
Identify potential technical risks and develop mitigation strategies
Create functional prototypes to validate architectural approaches
Maintain comprehensive solution documentation
Conduct training sessions to support knowledge transfer
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
Serve as an on-site technical liaison for client requests
Perform situational troubleshooting and issue resolution

Requirements

What you’ll need

U.S. Citizenship required
Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility
10+ years of experience in cloud architecture
Current 8570/8140 IAT Level II Certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)
Expert understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
Proficient in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
Deep experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong understanding of microservices, serverless, and other cloud-native approaches
Expert understanding of cloud security best practices
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Extensive experience with Agile development methodologies
Must be able to travel regularly, both domestically and internationally
