About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide support for enterprise-level Linux-based systems.
Assist with installation, configuration, testing, and management of operating systems, hardware, and software.
Participate in information security, systems analysis, planning, monitoring, and system documentation activities.
Assist in installing, upgrading, patching, managing, and monitoring Linux systems.
Provide end-users and application users with support through incident management.
Learn and assist in performing compliance audits on production systems during the patch cycle.
Leverage SolarWinds Orion and Splunk for real-time monitoring and alerting.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
Strong understanding of the Linux operating system, including the command line interface and basic networking concepts.
Experience with scripting languages, such as Bash or Python.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
Must possess a valid state driver's license, may be required to travel between customer sites.
