About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Business Growth Administrator supports the Business Unit's business development and capture efforts through administrative coordination, pipeline management, and proposal support activities.
  • This role is an excellent entry point for a detail-oriented, motivated individual looking to build a career in government contracting and business development.
  • The administrator works closely with senior BD staff, program managers, and cross-functional departments to keep BD operations running efficiently.
  • Maintains and updates the internal CRM to ensure accuracy of opportunity data, including additions, modifications, and removals.
  • Screens standard opportunity outlets and ingest points (GovWin, SAM.gov, agency portals, etc.) to identify and log new opportunities for the pipeline.
  • Compiles and distributes pipeline reports and status updates to support regular pipeline review meetings.
  • Monitors GWAC/IDIQ portals (e.g., GSA MAS, VETS 2, other vehicle portals) for task order opportunities, JV postings, and relevant compliance updates.
  • Assists in preparing data call responses for opportunities where the company serves in a subcontractor role.
  • Schedules and supports BD meetings, including pipeline reviews, solutioning sessions, proposal kickoffs, and industry days — drafts agendas and captures notes/action items.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required (Business, Communications, English, Political Science, or related field preferred)
  • 0–1 year of professional experience; internship experience in government contracting, proposal support, or a related field a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
