About the role
- Perform Software Systems Engineering for the acquisition, development and sustainment of various programs supporting aircraft and weapons systems
- Conduct reviews of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) products
- Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews evaluating supporting work products to Government standards
- Participate in all software life-cycle reviews from requirements analysis to integration
- Support program reviews and periodic program status meetings
Requirements
- BS or BA degree in a Technical Discipline
- At least ten (10) years of experience in Software/Systems Engineering supporting DoD aircraft systems
- Experience with DOD-STD-2167A/MIL-STD-498/IEEE 12207 is preferred
- Experience with Systems Software, Systems-of-Systems engineering, model-based systems engineering, or systems safety & reliability is desired
- Experience in military aircraft avionic systems and software is desired
- Strong communication, (written/oral), and presentation skills
- Strong critical thinking and reasoning skills
