About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform Software Systems Engineering for the acquisition, development and sustainment of various programs supporting aircraft and weapons systems
Conduct reviews of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) products
Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews evaluating supporting work products to Government standards
Participate in all software life-cycle reviews from requirements analysis to integration
Support program reviews and periodic program status meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS or BA degree in a Technical Discipline
At least ten (10) years of experience in Software/Systems Engineering supporting DoD aircraft systems
Experience with DOD-STD-2167A/MIL-STD-498/IEEE 12207 is preferred
Experience with Systems Software, Systems-of-Systems engineering, model-based systems engineering, or systems safety & reliability is desired
Experience in military aircraft avionic systems and software is desired
Strong communication, (written/oral), and presentation skills
Strong critical thinking and reasoning skills
